A variety of automatic defrosting that can be obtained on some installations using a time clock. The clock shuts the system down at suitable and convenient intervals. It returns the unit to normal operation afterward. As a general rule, this system is usable only when the fixture temperatures are around 32°F or higher. The fixture temperature air is used when the fixture can be quickly warmed from 32°F up to approximately 35°F in a reasonable period.
