TROUBLESHOOTING
- This refrigerator uses the BLDC Fan Motor. The BLDC Motor operates with DC 7~12V.
- Under Comp On conditions, the R-Fan operates generally.
- When there is defect, turn on the Self-Diagnosis function and confirm the defect before turning off the unit.
Start
Turn on Forced Operation.
FAN works normal.

COMP is running?
Is the temperature of the Ice Room
good for the Fan to operate?
Voltage between MAIN PCB
GND and CN75 #15 is
measured about DC8~12V?
Does the voltage between MAIN PCB
GND and CN50-#15 repeat between
DC8~12V and lower than DC 2V?
Ice Room Control Temperatture
Ice ON -13℃
Ice Off -3℃
Note
Pulse signal is generated at CN50 #13 when the Motor
spins. This signal enters to MICOM and if there is no signal
entering when the Motor spins, the Fan goes off and works
again in 10 seconds.
If there is still no signal entering, it repeats the above
operation 4 more times. If it keeps not sending the signal,
the Motor operates in 10 minutes. This is a function to
overcome the case that there is a restriction in the Motor
due to foreign substances around the Motor.

How to check Ice Room FAN Motor
Ice Room FAN ; Voltage between CN50 #15 and GND shall be DC
7~12V.
- After measuring it, check it again if the measurement is different
each other.
